Couples and relationships

Relationships can become difficult in ways that are not always easy to explain. You may find that conversations go in circles, connection feels inconsistent, or the same tensions return without resolution. In some cases, there is distance or withdrawal. In others, repeated attempts to address things lead to frustration or shutdown.

These patterns are often shaped by how each person has learned to relate, particularly under pressure. Differences in attachment, communication, and expectations can interact in ways that leave both people feeling misunderstood or stuck.

I offer a private and confidential space for couples, as well as individuals within relationships, to understand what is happening beneath these patterns. This includes how you communicate, how you manage closeness and distance, and what each of you brings into the dynamic, often outside of awareness.

The focus is not on assigning blame, but on developing a clearer understanding of the relationship itself. From there, we can begin to create more workable ways of communicating, clearer boundaries, and a more stable sense of connection.

I also offer pre-marital work and support for other relational contexts, including business partnerships where interpersonal dynamics are under strain.

This work requires honesty and willingness from both parties, but it is held with care, professionalism, and respect for each person involved.

Sessions are available online and in person in Sussex.
