Counselling for individuals

You may be functioning well in many areas of life, yet aware that something is not quite right. This can take different forms. A persistent sense of pressure or unease. Anxiety that does not fully make sense. Low mood, frustration, or a feeling of being stuck in patterns that do not shift despite your efforts.

Often, these experiences are not random. They are shaped over time through relationships, expectations, and ways of adapting that once made sense but may no longer serve you.

I offer a private and confidential space to look at this in depth. Not just to talk about what is happening, but to understand how it is organised. This includes patterns of thinking, emotional responses, and ways of relating to yourself and others.

My approach is integrative, informed by psychological research and clinical experience. I draw particularly on attachment, personality, and an understanding of how earlier experience continues to influence the present. The aim is not simply insight, but meaningful change. Greater clarity, more stable emotional ground, and the ability to respond rather than react.

Clients I work well with are often thoughtful and capable people who want to understand themselves properly, rather than apply surface-level strategies. Therapy can be challenging at times, but it is collaborative, grounded, and paced carefully.

All work is held with care, professionalism, and respect for your privacy.

I work online across the UK and internationally, and in person in Sussex.
